ST. PAUL’S CHURCH TO HOLD ‘DANCE NIGHT’ - YOUTH DANCE
An evening of music, dance and fun for grades 6 through 9!
Youth Dance Night for grades six through nine will be held on February 24th at St. Paul’s Fellowship House in Palmer. It will feature the latest in popular music played by DJ Rathbone on state-of-the-art audio DJ equipment . Admission to the dance is $5. Per person and is open to all students from grade six to nine in the greater Palmer area.
D.J. Abby Rathbone is a graduate of Palmer High School and a current student at Westfield Stata University. D.J Rathbone’s musical unique musical style can be described as enthusiastic, current, and clean.
Snacks and drink will be provided at a very reasonable cost (all less than $.50 each). Those attending the dance will be asked to sign in and also provide the names and phone numbers of the parent or guardian who will be picking them up.
According to Barb Windolowski “Dance Night will be a fun and safe winter event for the kids of our town.” St. Paul’s for many years was the host of Operation Friendship’s middle school dance (now held in Belchertown). It has a tradition of hosting youth and community dances that go back into the early 1960’s. Plans are to hold youth dance and other events for teens on a regular basis. Volunteers are welcome!
An officer from the Palmer Police Department will be on premise throughout ‘Dance Night to ensure the safety of all.
‘Dance Night! at St. Paul’s, for youth will be held Friday February 24th, from 7 to 8:30 p.m.. St. Paul’s Church is located at the corner of Park and Central Streets (1060 Central Street) in Palmer.
